Day 2 Rome
This morning enjoy a city tour which includes a visit to some of the best known monuments of Rome including the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The tour ends with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica where you can admire many masterpieces including Michelangelo’s Pietà. The rest of your day is spent at leisure.

Day 3 Rome | Naples | Pompeii | Sorrento
Continental Breakfast. An early morning departure from Rome to Naples, a short visit of the town, then on to Pompeii, the famous city which was destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations. Proceed on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Sorrento
Continental breakfast. The day is yours to spend as you wish in Sorrento, exploring or perhaps doing some shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Sorrento | Capri
Continental breakfast. Depart for Capri by steamer. Weather conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to Anacapri. Lunch will be in a typical restaurant followed by a visit to the Augustus’ Gardens with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Sorrento. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 Sorrento
After check-out from Borgo Sant’lppolito, and at your own pace, return to Rome for an overnight stay at Hotel Oxford (ask for details) and to return your rental car. There are endless choices and options of what to do and see as you spend your day in Rome, perhaps you may even decide to return for a longer visit.

Day 7 Sorrento - Calabria
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Calabria on the way stop for a short visit in Amalfi. On the way south the group will stop for a lunch break (not included). Continue to our Agriturismo Place in Calabria. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8, Calabria
Breakfast. Today will be a leisure day to relax. The day can be at the beach, tour the surrounding area or have a structured workshop on local arts and crafts. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9, Tropea/ Vibo Valentia/ Pizzo.
Breakfast. In the morning take an excursion to Tropea. The city is known for its medieval architecture. Continue to Vibo Valentia for a visit to the archaeological museum. Afterwards drive to Pizzo Calabro for a visit to the Aragonese Castle, where Giocchino Murat (brother-in-law of Napoleon) was shot. Return to the Agroturismo. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10, Calabria
Breakfast. Day is free at leisure. The day can be at the beach or have a structured workshop on local arts and crafts. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11, Ionica Joiosa
Breakfast. Today take a walking and hiking tour to explore nature and enjoy a lunch Calabrian style in the outdoors. Return for a rest to get ready for dinner and overnight.

Day 12, Serra San Bruno/ Gerace/Reggio Calabria
After breakfast depart for Serra San Bruno to visit the Museum of Certosa of San Bruno, and the monastery where the hermit Saint lived. Lunch in a local agrotourismo serving typical regional food (not included). In the afternoon visit to Gerace, beautiful medieval town with cobblestone narrow streets. Continue to Reggio Calabria visiting the city and the Museum of Magna Grecia with its famous RIACI BRONZES dating back to 500 B.C. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 13, Calabria
Breakfast. Enjoy a day at leisure to enjoy the beach, tour the surrounding area or do some last minute shopping. Farewell dinner.

Day 14, Calabria /Rome
Transfer to Lamezia Airport in Calabria for flight home via Rome.
